Ibero-American Grants for Degree Course Students

This program will grant up to 15,000 international mobility grants, each for 3,000 euros. The main aim of this programme is to contribute to the development of the´Ibero-American Centre of Knowledge´ through university student exchanges. Grants may be applied for by students from Argentina, Brazil, Spain, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Peru, Portugal, Puerto Rico and Uruguay.

Ibero-American Young Teachers' and Researchers' Grants

This programme will award a total of 3,000 grants with an endowment of €5,000 each. These grants cover academic visits of at least two months to one of the participating universities from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Spain, Mexico, Portugal, Puerto Rico and Uruguay. Scientists and academics who are preferably younger than 35 and hold a current employment contract during the period of validity of the grant may apply for this support.

Santander-EFE Agency Grants

The news agency EFE and Banco Santander launched this programme of paid internships for students in their final years of studies in journalism or similar fields. Each year, 13 scholarships for paid internships that  will take place in the countries in which Santander Universities has cooperation agreements and in which EFE has offices. It will be for undergraduate and graduate students of Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Peru, the United States and Portugal.

Montevideo Group Grants

Under the ESCALA Program, every year 500 scholarships are awarded so that university students can study for six months in another country.  It will be for students of Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay.
