Born in 1934 in Santander (Spain).

 

Graduate in Economics and Law.

 

He was appointed for the first time a Director of the Bank on 4 July 1960. He was re-elected by the General Meetings of shareholders of 1964, 1967, 1969, 1972, 1975, 1978, 1981, 1984, 1987, 1990, 1993, 1996, 1998, 2000, 2002, 2005 and of 21 June 2008.
