Michał Gajewski

Michał Gajewski, a legal advisor, graduated with a degree in law from the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. He also studied at Northwestern University in Chicago and the London Business School.
Mr Gajewski has worked in banking since 1992. Until 2008, he worked with WBK Group and Bank Zachodni WBK S.A., going from a branch role to middle and senior management offices, and ultimately heading up retail banking as a member of the Management Board.
Until 2011, he acted as vice-chairman of the Management Board of BGŻ Bank, in charge of the Retail and SME Banking and the Corporate Customers Division.
In 2012, he started at Bank Millenium S.A. where he served as the Macroregional Director of the Retail Banking Division until 2015, when he was made a member of the Management Board in charge of retail banking.
In 2016, Mr Gajewski was appointed to the Management Board of Bank Zachodni WBK S.A. (now Santander Bank Polska S.A.).
Mr Gajewski does not conduct business that competes with the bank, nor appear in the Insolvent Debtors Register, in accordance with the Act of 20 August 1997 of the Polish National Court Registry. He also meets the requirements set out in the Banking Law of 29 August 1997.
