Capital increase (July 2017) - Shareholders resident in the U.S. and holders of ADRs resident in the U.S.

Banco Santander has launched a capital increase with pre-emptive subscription rights addressed to its current shareholders as well as to other investors who acquire pre-emptive subscription rights in the market. The capital increase aims to reinforce and optimize the Bank’s equity structure to adequately cover the acquisition of 100% of Banco Popular Español, S.A.’s share capital.
