Santander was recognised by Euromoney magazine as the "Best Trade Finance Bank" in Portugal, placing first in all three categories assessed: Customer Service, Products and Technology.
The Euromoney Trade Finance Survey is one of the most comprehensive assessments in the sector. Based on customer feedback, it rates the performance of institutions, the solutions offered and their contribution to the sector.

Santander Portugal consolidates its position as one of the leading institutions in the Trade Finance business, with a market share consistently higher than its natural share in the corporate segment. International business activity is the purview of a specialised team that works closely with Portuguese companies, supporting clients throughout their entire internationalisation process.
The International Desk plays a key role in supporting companies that expand their operations into foreign markets, benefiting from the international presence of Santander Group. Additionally, this unit supports foreign companies interested in investing in Portugal by providing information on product offerings, onboarding processes and local market specificities.
The 2025 edition of the Survey saw record participation, with over 13,000 customers contributing to nearly 180 ratings across seven regions and approximately 60 countries.
