C4C is developing a kind of additive material that acts as a carrier for CO2. This gas is absorbed onto the carrier during exposure to industrial flues. The carrier is then mixed with freshly produced concrete, and it releases CO2 slowly (over a period of ~100 hours). In this way, CO2 is mineralised at scale and uniformly dispersed throughout the concrete, which increases concrete strength, therefore reducing the amount of cement needed to produce it.

We have developed an integrated membrane reactor that solves the H2 transport problem: #1 converting molecules into H2 where the H2 is needed.
