60 scholarship recipients selected from among 30,000 candidates

With this scholarship, Banco Santander seeks to uplift the voices of 60 young people from 11 different countries, selected from among 30,000 candidates, in order to learn about their vision of the future of education, inviting them to take part in the different topics on which the 5th International Rectors' Summit was developed.

The students who travelled to Valencia received training sessions to learn leadership and communication skills, such as how to make an elevator pitch or effective presentations, and had a specially tailored cultural agenda before and after the 5th International Rectors' Summit. 

Additionally, these scholarship recipients received an online training during the weeks prior to the trip to Valencia, which was given in 5 specific sessions.

The scholarship included travel expenses, accommodation and meals, and it also recognised three of the 60 recipients with an additional financial award of €1,000.
