The SNEF is devoted to raising public awareness about the importance of financial education; a skill that is considered essential worldwide, both in personal life, and for achieving inclusive growth and more resilient economies. As on previous occasions, Santander Mexico will actively participate in this meeting, through a wide range of digital content in this area.
The National Financial Education Week (SNEF for its initials in Spanish) is an annual event organised by the Mexican government, through Mexico’s Commission for the Protection and Defence of Users of Financial Services (CONDUSEF). This year’s event will be fully digital, under the slogan “Healthy wallet, happy heart”, and will take place from 4 to 15 October.
Through conferences, games and fun activities, the SNEF has established itself as the meeting point for the efforts made, regarding financial education, by public, private, social and educational institutions. The aim of these initiatives is to encourage better management of personal finances and to promote the responsible use of financial products and services that help people achieve their goals, while increasing and securing their assets.
As part of our Responsible Banking agenda, Santander Mexico is taking part in the activities of the 2021 SNEF through a wide range of content, including 20 videoconferences, a virtual stand and informative materials.
