The annual awards, presented by the Global Private Banker, recognised Santander Private Banking in three categories including “Best Private Bank – United Kingdom”. Santander Private Banking received three awards during the virtual ceremony live from Singapore. ​​​​​​​

The Santander Private Banking UK team won in three categories at The Digital Banker's Global Private Banking Innovation Awards: they received the “Best Private Bank – UK” and “Outstanding Digital Transformation in Covid-19 by a Private Bank” awards, plus UK Private Banker, Raj Dass, was named “Private Banker of the Year”.

The awards recognise Private Banking business development in the country, innovation in the service model adaption due to covid-19 and the excellent work carried out by the teams during 2021.

Ben Covey, Head of Santander Private Banking in UK, praised and congratulated the teams on the work done: “Congratulations to the whole team. I am delighted that we are now being recognised by the industry as leaders in our adoption of a hybrid client experience in Private Banking.”

Presented annually by the Global Private Banker and sister publication, The Digital Banker, the Global Private Banking Innovation Awards recognise and celebrate the world’s best private banks, wealth managers and asset managers that champion innovation across advisory, services, product, customer experience and more. The awards are co-judged by senior leaders from consultancies, family offices, tax service providers, fund houses and asset managers from around the world.

Santander Private Banking UK was also recognised this year as the “Outstanding Private Banking for Customer Engagement” and “Outstanding Private Banking for Diversity and Inclusion” in the Private Banker International Awards, making 2022 a very successful year for the business.
