Getnet, Santander’s global merchant payments platform, today announced the launch of Getnet Engage, a new solution that enables merchants to create and manage customised loyalty programmes directly through the payment terminal, helping them strengthen customer relationships and drive repeat business.

Integrated into the payment experience, Getnet Engage will automatically recognise customers through the payment card they use, eliminating the need for loyalty cards, mobile applications or additional registration processes. Once the payment is completed, customers instantly receive confirmation of their rewards or points directly on their mobile phone, creating a simple, seamless and engaging experience. Merchants can easily create points-based programmes or digital stamp cards, providing a simple and frictionless experience for both businesses and consumers.

Getnet Engage also includes an analytics dashboard that provides merchants with insights into customer behaviour, campaign performance and commercial opportunities.

Getnet Engage will be first introduced in Brazil before rolling out across Getnet's markets in Latin America and Europe.
