Santander achieved a record number of awards including Best Private Bank in ESG & Impact Investing and Best Private Banking for Technology in several of its core markets.

It is the second consecutive year that Spain and Mexico have won the Best Private Bank award, the ninth consecutive year for Portugal, and the eighth year in a row for Chile.

Santander Private Banking has been named Best Private Banking Overall in Spain, Chile, Portugal and Mexico in the annual awards granted by Euromoney magazine. 

The bank’s commitment to responsible banking was recognized with Santander receiving the Best Private Bank in ESG & Impact Investing award in Latin America, Chile, Mexico, Portugal and Spain. The bank also received the Best Private Banking for Technology in Spain, Portugal, Mexico and Chile.

The awards, now in their 17th year, assess the work of the Private Banking industry and are awarded based on the votes of more than 2,000 entities, including banks, fund managers and family offices, among others.
