The second edition of the Iberian Equity Awards, granted by the Spanish Association for Investor Relations (AERI), recognised Santander Bank as the best company in Spain and its Investor Relations programme as the best in the financial sector.
The Spanish Association for Investor Relations (AERI) held its second Iberian Equity Awards, which recognise the excellence and performance of the best companies, teams and professionals in the field of investor relations. These awards are the result of an annual global survey of more than 1,500 analysts and investors conducted by the prestigious publication Institutional Investor.
Santander was awarded for the second year running in the following categories:
- Best Overall Corporate in Spain - All Sectors.
- Best Investor Relations Programme - In the financial sector.
Santander was also recognised as one of the best in the market:
- Best Investor Relations Team (Top 3) - All Sectors.
- Best IR Professional: Fernando Donoso (Top 3) - All Sectors.

AERI aims to promote and improve the Investor Relations of Spanish listed companies and the knowledge and international best practices in this function within companies.
