Sustainability

Santander reports annually its performance in terms of culture and sustainability, informing of the main actions and commitments of the Bank in this areas and in relation to its main stakeholders (employees, customers, shareholders and society).

In addition, the Bank also reports on the main initiatives it develops with society and the environment, particularly in the communities where it operates, with special attention to the Bank's relationship with the Universities.

This chapter, of the bank’s annual report, has been verified by PwC, an independent firm that has also audited the Group’s annual accounts. .

We report on the performance of our sustainable initiatives in the countries where we operate. Some subsidiaries include this information in their annual report while others prepare their own sustainability report.
