Whether you’re a student, worker or don’t have any qualifications or work experience, Santander Open Academy offers a wide range of courses, content and scholarships for you to build up your career prospects.
In a digital world with economic and environmental issues, the job market is demanding the latest knowledge and skills that our global online platform can offer. Santander Open Academy has hundreds of course and scholarship postings every year. They’re free, and you don’t have to be a Santander customer or hold a degree to apply. Just register on the platform. We open application periods for courses and scholarships in the 11 countries where we operate. Each subsidiary also runs programmes that adapt to the needs of its communities.
We offer a wide range of educational programmes to meet people’s employability needs, with grants for higher education, travel, research and internships, plus free courses that are admissions-based or have open enrolment, as well as learning content (books, audiobooks, podcasts, videos and e-books).
We closed 2022 having invested 100 million euros in helping over 265,000 people and companies through education, employability and entrepreneurship programmes. We took in applications in 11 countries to over 1,100 scholarships and courses, which were announced on the Santander Open Academy website.
We have been a stalwart of education, employability and entrepreneurship for over 27 years, investing over 2.2 billion euros and helping over 1 million people and companies. We were named in Fortune magazine’s 2023 “Change the World” list as one of the biggest contributors to making the world a better place.
