Every year, more Santander España employees sign up to our “Euros from your salary” initiative to donate money from their monthly pay. The bank matches the total amount raised and uses it to help the most vulnerable.
Once again, we’re extremely proud of our employees’ contribution to the Euros from your salary initiative. Thanks to them, this year we’ve raised EUR 675,042 to help society’s most vulnerable.
We received 349 project submissions from 294 social causes. An internal committee comprised of members from several Group divisions and subsidiaries whittled the list down to 35. Over 3,100 employees then voted online for the 16 winners, who will each receive EUR 42,190. More than 148,000 people are set to benefit from the funds.
