Now’s the time to go out there and show the world what you can do.
Happily, we can help with that. With over 15 million customers here in the UK alone, there’s no bigger stage than Santander. What’s more, we have a wide range of schemes to choose from. Each comes with great training, professional qualifications and a minimum starting salary of £30k.
Take a look at the choice of programmes and levels available and we’re sure you’ll find what you’re looking for. If, on the off chance, your preferred choice is not currently available, don’t be disappointed. We’ll update as soon as it’s available again. In the meantime, sign up to our Talent Community so we can keep you up to speed with any suitable opportunities as they come up.
Every graduate scheme is different. Some last 18 months, others take over two years. Some might see you rotating across different parts of a business area; others might see you posted in different parts of the country.
But one thing is certain. You’ll work with respected professionals on projects that matter – both us and the millions of customers who rely on us.
ELIGIBILITY
Exact requirements will vary between schemes, but as a general rule we look for:
Depending on which scheme you join, you might be coding a new app. Assessing our risks. Or even transforming how we work as a business. The possibilities are almost limitless.
However, every graduate scheme offers you:
Let’s face it, a solid network of peers will be key to your success on the scheme. That’s why we’ve put together The Graduate Networking Committee. Part of the Accelerating Capability Programme, their sole purpose is to arrange a variety of networking and community events for all our graduates.
So, no matter where you’re located, you’ll get plenty of opportunities to share, network and have fun with those who are on the same journey as you are.
The world has changed dramatically over the last 10 years, which has made a real impact on the skills needed by businesses to keep pace with changing technology and customer expectations. This programme is designed to support you, and Santander, in getting ready for a digital future.
It offers a mix of on the job and professional training. Depending on the programme you’re going for, this might take the form of online modules, classroom sessions or a combination of both. You’ll also benefit from rotational placements that will give you exposure, and help you build networks across the business.
This training will provide you with an opportunity to demonstrate to the bank that your fresh perspective and new ideas can be turned into revenue generating, or cost saving, implementations. You can then look back and reflect on your learning throughout the programme.
You will also have access to MIO, our amazing online learning platform, providing you easy access to learning when and wherever you want it.
At every step, you will have a dedicated graduate and line manager for each rotation, supporting you throughout your programme.
It will vary between schemes, but as a general rule you will receive:
