Great Place to Work has rewarded Santander Chile for its excellent corporate atmosphere and culture by naming it the country's best company to work for.
Grupo Santander can now tick off Chile in its quest to rank among the best places to work in its main geographies after Great Place to Work 2020 chose Santander Chile as the country’s best place to work among companies with over 1,000 employees.
Claudio Melandri, executive chairman of Santander Chile, said "we’re very proud of this great achievement, which reflects our commitment to contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals and help create a better world for everyone. Our 10,000-plus employees are our lifeblood; it’s them who have made us the country's leading bank. This award gives us the impetus to continue improving and seek better conditions and benefits for our people”.
The Great Place to Work accolade is the latest in a string of awards the company has won. This year, Santander Chile got the Top Employer certificate for the third year running, which acknowledges the best companies to work for and excellence in people management.
