We offer our facilities and resources to the members of our Solidarity network to increase their impact and provide several ways to collaborate and participate. From initiatives at Work Cafés and in-person activities such as charity bazaars and events, to the reuse and donation of surplus equipment and materials and inclusive cultural activities that Fundación Banco Santander runs, we’re joining forces to reach more people and communities.

Charity bazaars

Throughout the year we run charity bazaars at Grupo Santander’s premises in Madrid (Spain), where NGOs from the Solidarity network usually take part.

Organizations that wish to sell their products can get more information on forthcoming bazaars by writing to eurosdetunomina@gruposantander.com. These events help give visibility to the NGOs’ work and create opportunities for them to raise funds by selling the items they make or promote.

Work Café

Through our Work Cafés we give visibility and support to social projects that aim to make society more inclusive, and invite the public to join in.

We provide NGOs with an open, adaptive space to organize activities, events and awareness campaigns that connect them with customers, employees and broader society. In addition to garnering support and donations, we also strengthen local partnerships and involvement.

Charity catering

Some of the Solidarity network’s NGOs offering catering services that we make available to our employees in Spain for corporate events and private celebrations.

NGOs interested in forming part of the catering roster can send their details to eurosdetunomina@gruposantander.com. Every catering service chosen is a chance to contribute to the financing of social projects and, in many cases, to the creation of inclusive employment for vulnerable people.

Merchandise donations

We donate surplus corporate merchandise such as backpacks, clothes, bottles and pens to NGOs in Spain.

NGOs can request these products by writing to eurosdetunomina@gruposantander.com and will receive them in a matter of days. This initiative means we can give a second life to items in perfect condition and support organizations’ activities, campaigns and action to help beneficiaries.

Plan Renove

Plan Renove is where we give unused equipment a second life. Every year, we choose several NGOs from our Solidarity network and, after cleaning and servicing the items, give our employees the chance to obtain them for personal use in exchange for a donation to one of the NGOs.

This drives the circular economy and reduces the environmental impact related to reusing technology, while also channelling resources to social projects. Moreover, this initiative helps raise awareness about the digital gap and strengthens the commitment of our employees who take part in a charitable cause with a direct impact on NGOs.

Furniture donations

We work with Fundación Valora in Spain on moving donated surplus materials and ensure they reach those who need them most. Surplus items from the bank usually go to NGOs who form part of our Solidarity network.

To request a donation, please register on the Fundación Valora platform. Once registered, you can check what’s available and issue a request.

Art gallery activities

We organize free visits to the Santander Art Gallery (Santander Group City, Boadilla del Monte) through Fundación Banco Santander to bring the Banco Santander Collection closer to vulnerable people.

These activities promote access to cultural events as an inclusion and well-being tool and drive participation and learning in a friendly environment. Moreover, we work with the NGOs to ensure that our visitors receive the appropriate support and to maximize their experience through connection, dialogue and artistic awareness.
