We promote volunteering with the member organizations of our Solidarity network as a way of contributing to the development of the communities that we serve, in partnership with third sector entities. Through corporate volunteering, pro bono volunteering and charity team building, we offer numerous ways to take part, join forces and broaden the impact of social projects.

Corporate volunteering

At Santander we encourage corporate volunteering as a way for our employees to contribute to the development of the communities we serve.

We partner with not-for-profit organizations on initiatives where our employees lend their time, skills and talent to third sector social projects.

Pro bono volunteering

We make the bank's talented specialists in finance, communication, digital transformation, management and other areas available to social organizations to help them address internal challenges at no additional cost.

With the help of our experts, these organizations can structure their projects better, implement best practice, optimize processes, and build more sustainable and efficient management. Moreover, it aids knowledge transfer and institutional professionalization to strengthen credibility. By heightening capability and visibility, it forges new ties and provides resources that increase social impact. And, thanks to its flexibility, we can adapt our support through training, advice, mentoring and one-off or ongoing partnerships.

Charity team building

The bank offers its teams the opportunity to add a charitable element to their meetings through initiatives that reinforce pride in belonging and bring them closer to diverse social realities.

We provide our employees with a range of activities that the NGOs in the Solidarity network put forward, which makes it easier for each team to find the option that best suits their objectives and how they want to take part.

To propose new team building activities, please forward all the necessary information to voluntariadosantander@gruposantander.com.
