At Grupo Santander we believe that companies should play an active role in addressing social challenges by working with the third sector and other players to make a real impact. We focus our social investment on education, employability and entrepreneurship and run community support initiatives alongside social organizations in each of our markets, especially on financial education and to help vulnerable groups.

For the past two decades we have been implementing a comprehensive social action strategy that goes beyond financial support by fostering commitment to charitable causes and corporate volunteering to have a long-lasting, transformational impact. We demonstrate this commitment through programmes that Santander HQ, Fundación Santander and Santander España run and that we complement with our Solidarity network in Spain (an ecosystem of some 200 NGOs that come together every year to share learning, strengthen ties, and broaden their impact).
