It is the second time that the CEO of Santander Bank Polska, Michał Gajewski, tops the “Banker of the Year” ranking by Forbes.

The final score is made up of two independent assessments: up to 30 points from the jury and up to 70 points from financial indicators.  In total, 14 ratios are considered that measure profitability, security, effectiveness, and business growth. Michał Gajewski, CEO of Santander Bank Polska, scored as many as 80 points.

In order to effectively deliver its goals, this year the bank launched a new strategy that is based on ‘Total Experience’ and combines customer satisfaction and employee satisfaction.

Our Total Experience strategy is to evoke the most positive emotions related to the Bank. We believe that this is the best way to create sustainable value for shareholders, ensure outstanding performance and make our ambition, which is to be the most profitable bank in Poland, come true. We are very happy with the recognition from the Forbes jury. This award confirms that adequate management, focus on financial safety and continuous efforts to improve satisfaction of our customers and employees translate into the bank’s long-term success and stability.
