At Santander, we understand the importance of putting the customer at the centre, with “Think Customer” one of our three strategic pillars alongside “Think Value” and “Think Global” to make sure we offer the best experience.
With this same aim, we also highlight the role of companies that work to provide innovative solutions based on cutting-edge technology. An example of our commitment is the Santander X Global Challenge | New Era of Customer Experience, whose closing awards ceremony took place on 4 March 2025 at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona (Spain).

An expert panel of senior leaders from Santander and other prestigious international organizations poured over the submissions in terms of personalization, omnichannel reach, empathy and human connection before selecting the six winners.
The winners collected a share of the EUR 120,000 prize money for this global challenge, as well as international visibility for their projects and access to Santander X 100, the global community that brings together Santander X’s most successful companies. Through that community, they can connect with other entrepreneurs, as well as mentors, experts, investors and customers, and get access to free resources, support and exclusive events.
This latest challenge, as with the other global challenges we run each year, sparked significant interest in the business world, with over 900 companies from 11 countries taking part.
