You’ll be glowing.
Whatever the weather

Our internship is a great way to spend the summer. Especially if you like the idea of earning some cash while getting yourself ahead. Spending six to ten weeks gaining real, in-depth experience at a world-class bank. Developing skills that’ll standout on your CV. And possibly even securing a place on our graduate scheme for the following year.

Roll on summer.

Our programmes

Take a look at the choice of programmes and levels available and we’re sure you’ll find what you’re looking for. If, on the off chance, your preferred choice is not currently available, don’t be disappointed. We’ll update as soon as it’s available again. In the meantime, sign up to our Talent Community so we can keep you up to speed with any suitable opportunities as they come up.

What's involved?

Our internships are structured 6-10 week programmes. Each one kicks off with an induction which tells you everything you need to know about our people and processes.

Once that’s out the way, you’ll immerse yourself in a business area. Interns typically shadow senior-level colleagues, attending meetings and rotating between different areas. It’s likely you’ll be given a project to manage during your time here. This will show us what you’re capable of.

You’ll also network with a lot of people during your internship. Some will be previous graduates and interns, so take the opportunity to ask questions. What’s more, you’ll have the support of a line manager and a buddy along the way.

Last but not least, all our interns get to take part in a charity event to help raise funds for our partner charities.

What can I expect?

It’s for students in their penultimate year of university study.

Internships allow you to:

  • Get paid
  • Gain experience
  • Boost your CV
  • Build a network of colleagues

They also give you the opportunity to secure a place on our graduate scheme early. There’s no better feeling going into your final year than knowing you’ve got a full-time role for you waiting at the other end.
