The aim of these scholarships is to offer online executive training courses at IE University to drive Chilean business growth through three impact areas: internationalisation, sales and digital marketing and finance.
This first round will provide 1,000 scholarships to take the "Internationalisation Strategies” course, which will focus on internationalisation processes and strategies and the new economic and geopolitical context.
This course is an online programme designed by IE University academics which fosters independent learning and enables various levels of understanding to be attained depending on the time available to the student, with a minimum commitment of six to eight hours.
Applications can be submitted until 6 April at Santander X.
The aim of the Santander X IE Work Café Academy Chile scholarships programme is to support entrepreneurs, independents and micro-entrepreneurs via online executive training courses at IE University. This programme will be offered via the Work Café School thanks to the alliance between Work Café Chile and Santander Universities.
At this time of global uncertainty, IE University, through the IE Foundation, and Santander Universities, through Santander X, are committed to education as a driver of change, in this way helping participants to foster the development of their businesses. The programme will have three rounds of applications in 2021 and which will offer training in internationalisation strategies, sales and digital marketing, and basic financial knowledge.
The first round of the programme offers 1,000 scholarships to take the "Internationalisation Strategies” training course and the only requirements for applicants are that they must be an entrepreneur, independent or microentrepreneur and be a Chilean citizen or resident in the country. The deadline for applications is 6 April and prospective students must register via Santander X.
The "Internationalisation Strategies” training course is an Online Learning Journey, i.e. a 100% online course designed by IE University academics which provides educational resources such as interactive tutorials, videos, interviews with experts, podcasts, tests, etc. These resources encourage independent learning and enable various levels of understanding to be attained depending on the amount of time that students wish to dedicate. The minimum commitment is six to eight hours.
Beneficiaries of the scholarship will have four weeks to complete the course. The training will be delivered exclusively in Spanish and cover topics such as the internationalisation process, the new economic and geopolitical context, globalisation vs. regionalisation, when to undertake international expansion and internationalisation strategies.
