The latest Euros from your salary contest, which Santander employees in Spain took part in through donations, has come to an end. Once again, our people were unwavering in their support.
Group employees in Spain submitted 246 projects to the 16th Euros from your salary contest. A jury of representatives from Santander’s divisions and subsidiaries chose 28 finalists. Over 3,150 Santander employees in Spain chose the 16 winners.
Projects are financed through the Euros from your salary fund. In 2023, donations from 2,800 employees, which the bank matched, put the fund at €695,788. There were four winners in each of the four categories, with three taking home a prize of €48,487 and the other some €28,487.

What is “Euros from your salary”?
We hold the Euros from your salary contest every year. Our employees in Spain submit and vote on social projects that are supported by the Euros from your salary fund. Employees donate part of their pay every month to the fund, which the bank then matches.
