Madrid, 10 February 2020

Santander has launched Start, a programme for internships in the various areas of the bank's corporate centre, in which 250 young people will participate. Start is intended for students or young recent graduates seeking their first professional experience. This nine-month programme is intended for young people with STEM (technical branch: science, technology, engineering, mathematics, etc.), business administration, finance, accounting, law, marketing and HR profiles.

Participants in the April campaign of Santander Start are required to be students or recent graduates, have a high level of proficiency in English, be able to function in an international environment, be familiar with the use of IT tools, and be available to start in April 2020.

Those selected will be accompanied by a mentor who will support them for the duration of their internships and will take part in actual business projects. Each young person will also have free access to a nine-month training plan designed to strengthen their future employability. This programme will combine face-to-face, online and teamwork sessions.

Young people wishing to participate in the programme may apply via the following link: STEM profile or Finance profile
