Rules of the game for the digital age



Two new participants in financial services will briefly present their respective products or services to set the stage for a conversation on “Rules of the game for the digital age.”

Participants will discuss the challenges in finding the right balance between benefits for consumers, fair competition (“same activity, same rules”), innovation, customer protection, prudential requirements and cybersecurity, focusing on how citizens and the economy can be better served. The competing and complementary capacities of users, Bigtech, new techs and incumbent financial services will be considered, as well as the challenges of global cooperation and coordination.
