Mr. Matías Rodríguez Inciarte

Third Vice Chairman.

 

Executive Director.

 

Chairman of the Risk Committee and member of the Executive Committee.

 

Born in 1948 in Oviedo (Spain).

 

Graduate in Economics and State Economist.

 

He was appointed for the first time a Director of the Bank on 7 October 1988. He was re-elected by the General Meetings of shareholders of 1989, 1992, 1995, 1998, 2000, 2003,2005 and of 19 June 2009.

 

Other relevant posts: Former Minister of the Presidency of the Spanish Government (1981-1982). At present, he is also a non-executive Director of Banco Español de Crédito (Banesto), a non-executive Director of Financiera Ponferrada, S.A., SICAV, a non-executive Director of Sanitas, S.A. de Seguros and President of the Fundación Príncipe de Asturias.
