Money raised will go to Cáritas, COAS, Cruz Roja Argentina and the Seamos Uno initiative to purchase hospital equipment, monitor and assist the at-risk population, as well as supply the most vulnerable communities with testing kits and food.
Bank will also match donations made by customers to each of these organisations.

Santander Argentina will donate 60 million pesos to various organisations and initiatives in the country's fight against coronavirus (covid-19). The money raised will go to Cáritas, COAS, Cruz Roja Argentina and the Seamos Uno initiative.
Some $50 million will be direct donations to purchase hospital equipment, monitor and assist the at-risk population, and supply the most vulnerable communities with testing kits and food.
Santander will also earmark $10 million to a campaign to encourage its customers to donate to charitable organisations and will match these contributions. For more details visit www.santander.com.ar.

Banco Santander announced this week that it will offer microbusinesses and small and medium-sized enterprises loans totalling $16,000 million at a special annual nominal rate of 24% to help them pay wages. Last week it granted $750 million in loans, at the same rate, to around ten hospitals, clinics and nursing homes.
